Privacy Policy

Threadovo (“we”, “us”) provides an AI content-operations platform that helps creators and businesses generate, approve, schedule, and publish social media content. For privacy questions, contact us at privacy@threadovo.com.

Account data: your name, email address, and authentication details. If you sign in with a third party (e.g. Google), we receive your basic profile and verified email.

Content data: prompts, generated media, captions, brand-kit assets, and the posts you create or schedule.

Connection data: the social accounts you link. Publishing is handled by our integration partner (Zernio); the underlying platform access tokens are held by them, not stored by us.

Billing data: plan, currency, and payment status. Card and bank details are handled by our payment processor (Bachs, and Paystack for some naira payments) and are never stored on our servers.

Usage data: logs and metadata needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

To provide and maintain the service; to generate and publish content at your direction; to process payments and enforce plan limits; to communicate service and security notices; and to detect and prevent abuse.

We share data only with service providers that help us operate: AI generation (OpenRouter, fal.ai), publishing (Zernio), payments (Bachs, and Paystack for some naira payments), object storage, email delivery, and product analytics (Microsoft Clarity), and advertising measurement (Reddit). We do not sell your personal data.

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use Threadovo. Clarity records how pages are used — clicks, scrolling, mouse movement, and which pages you visit — and can replay that as an anonymised session recording. We use it to find where the product is confusing, never to identify individuals.

How we ask depends on where you are. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, Clarity stays off until you accept the banner. Everywhere else, including Nigeria, it runs by default in a cookieless mode — it sets no cookies on threadovo.com and we do not use it to recognise you between visits, though Microsoft’s own servers (clarity.ms, bing.com) may set cookies of their own when the tag loads — on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used, and you can switch it off with one press on the notice or at any time under “Cookie settings” in the footer. Accepting the banner in either place turns on the standard mode, which uses cookies to connect the pages of one visit.

We use the Reddit pixel to measure our advertising on Reddit. It sets a cookie (_rdt_uuid) on threadovo.com and tells Reddit which public pages you visit and when you create an account, so we can see whether an ad led to a sign-up and Reddit can show our ads to people likely to find them useful. It never reports what you do inside your workspace. It follows the same rules as Clarity: in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland it stays off until you accept the banner; everywhere else it runs by default and stops when you opt out on the notice or under “Cookie settings”, or when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. Reddit processes this data under the Reddit Privacy Policy.

We also use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count page views on the public site. It is cookieless: it sets nothing on your device and reports only aggregate traffic, never who you are. Like Clarity, it is not loaded when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.

Sensitive fields such as passwords and payment details are masked and never captured. Microsoft processes this data as our provider; see the Microsoft Privacy Statement. You can opt out by enabling Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser, which we honour.

We keep your data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal and operational needs. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email privacy@threadovo.com.

We use encryption in transit, scoped access controls, and tenant isolation. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and respond promptly to incidents.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
